In a house or any building, plumbing is something that needs to be handled carefully and pipes must be laid down while the building is in construction stage itself. Depending on the water pressure, the water flow will change and at times to increase the flow people might use additional pumps. The booster pumps are basically used to in areas where water pressure is low or there is low contamination. The use of vacuum to draw liquid into the inlet is achieved without using any external forces. Some of the booster pumps available in the market are made of brass, cast iron, aluminum or stainless steel. They work through power which is supplied from the AC DC outlets, gasoline or diesel or maybe pneumatic systems in order to get the water flowing in full force without any interruptions.
The booster pumps come with a built in rotor that is mounted on the unit depending on the kind of media used, that is gasoline or lubricants and so on. There are some pumps that come with certain additional features such as protection during thermal overloads. There are two kinds of pumps available, single stage and multi stage. That is, in multi stage, the fluid compressed inside is released through the chambers or the various stages in pressurization to give out high pressure of water. And these pumps are more common in aerospace and large industries such as food processing.
The other kinds of pumps are the shower pumps which are aimed at giving maximum pressure in showers installed in the bathrooms in an apartment or house. If the water pressure is low, then the amount of water released through the nozzle will not be powerful enough. To rectify this problem, one of the many models of shower pumps is used and the water pressure dramatically increases. If the shower head is single, then smaller pumps are sufficient. There are also pumps available that will boost only one water supply line whereas others will continue to have low pressure. Modern shower pumps are available in different models and each one caters to a different plumbing system but their end result is maximum pressure without any external force in action.
